After four months of beta testing, Samsung has finally released the official One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series. As expected, this is one of the first devices to be “upgraded” to Android 15 with the latest One UI interface.

Currently, the update has started rolling out to Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra users in certain markets and will be expanded gradually in stages. For now, the update is only available to those who participated in the beta testing program, but it will be released widely in the next few hours. The update has a version code ending in BYCG.

The Galaxy S24 FE is not included in this update, but is expected to receive One UI 7 before the end of April.

If you are using the beta, just download a small update package via OTA to upgrade to the official version. Meanwhile, users running Android 14 and One UI 6 will have to download a fairly large update, so using a Wi-Fi connection or a high-speed data plan is essential.

To check and download One UI 7 for your Galaxy S24, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Since major updates are usually delivered in batches, if you don’t see them right away, try again later.

One UI 7 is the first of seven major OS updates that the Galaxy S24 series will receive. The new interface brings many outstanding features such as Galaxy AI, a noise-removing tool in videos (Audio Eraser), AI writing and drawing support, along with Now Bar, a smart pill-shaped bar that shows ongoing activities right on the lock screen and status bar. This is an important step to improve the user experience, and also opens a long-term software upgrade chain that Samsung is committed to for the new flagships.
