A potential compact flagship smartphone from OnePlus is generating buzz, with industry insider Digital Chat Station fueling speculation about its imminent arrival. The device, believed by some to be the OnePlus 13T or a smaller variant, is expected to deliver top-tier performance alongside an extended battery lifespan.
While the tipster refrained from directly confirming the phone’s name, a distinctive emoji in his social media post has led to widespread assumptions that he’s talking about the OnePlus 13T. If rumors are true, it may even be the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship of 2025.
Details shared on Weibo reveal a simplified camera setup for this upcoming OnePlus phone, described as an “international” design aesthetic, whatever that means in machine translation hell. The tipster added that this compact phone will be among the most aesthetically pleasing in its class. Unofficial digital images of the 13T have surfaced, revealing a significant departure in design from previous OnePlus models.
Expected Specifications
According to previous leaks, the cheaper OnePlus 13 model should feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED at 120Hz with 1.5K resolution and extremely thin surrounding bezels, as shown in the image above. Its build should feel premium, thanks to its metallic frame and glass body.
It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship chipset and should have a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. If the image above is accurate, these should be the only two cameras on the phone, though the absence of an ultrawide seems rather odd. There should be a large 6,000 mAh battery with support for wireless charging.
OnePlus 13T is expected to have a starting price of $415, which would make it one of the most affordable flagship killers available.
