Samsung’s One UI 7.0 update is getting closer to its official release. According to a new leak, the stable version of One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 could be rolled out to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in March. This came shortly after Samsung hinted that the beta program was coming to an end, reinforcing the possibility that the update would be available to users soon.
One UI 7.0 has been undergoing a lengthy testing process since Samsung launched the beta program for the Galaxy S24 in December last year. So far, the company has released four beta versions, followed by a minor bug fix update shortly after. The constant updates suggest that Samsung is rushing to finalize the software before the official launch.
While Samsung has not officially confirmed it, the company recently denied rumors of Beta 5 and Beta 6 releases, calling them mere speculation. Some statements from the company also suggest that the beta program for the Galaxy S24 series is about to close, further reinforcing the information about the upcoming stable update.
Recently, X (Twitter) account @PandaFlashPro revealed that the stable One UI 7.0 update will arrive in March. “Galaxy S24 Series, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 users prepare for next month!” – this account wrote. Although it did not specifically mention the One UI 7.0 update, it is likely that this is what the leaker is referring to.
As usual, Samsung is expected to release the update for the Galaxy S24 first, then expand it to foldable devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. It is not clear whether these will be the first and only devices to receive the update in March, but it is likely that Samsung will quickly roll it out to all eligible devices.
One UI 7.0 brings a number of major improvements, including intelligent AI features, an optimized user interface, camera upgrades, and a host of other improvements. Some features may not be available on older models or mid-range devices, but the update will definitely improve the user experience on Galaxy devices.
