Samsung has officially released the stable One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15 for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, bringing significant improvements to both the interface and features. This is the first major update since the device’s launch.

Currently, the update is being rolled out first to users participating in the beta program in Korea. The software code ends with BYCJ, and the size is about 400MB. It is expected that in the next few days, users who do not participate in the beta and in other countries will also receive this update.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 was initially sold with Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1. According to Samsung’s commitment, the device will receive seven major Android operating system updates, and One UI 7.0 is the first upgrade in that journey. The next major update is likely to be rolled out in the second half of this year.

One UI 7.0 brings a new interface design with a separation between the notification panel and the quick panel. App icons are refreshed, system apps are redesigned to be more modern, along with new widget styles, more lock screen customization options, and some new features from the Galaxy AI ecosystem.

Galaxy Z Flip 6 users can check and update the software by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If you don’t see the update yet, please be patient, as the rollout is being rolled out in stages.
