Samsung continues to improve the security and stability of the Galaxy A54 with the latest software update. The Galaxy A54 variant for the Americas, Asia, and Australia (model SM-A546E) is now receiving the February 2025 security patch.

The update carries the build number A546EXXSBCYB1 and is currently available in Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Samsung is expected to continue expanding the rollout in the coming days.

Users can check for and install the update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If the update is not showing up yet, Samsung may still be rolling it out in batches. Alternatively, you can also download the firmware from Samsung’s database and install it manually using Odin on a Windows PC.

The Galaxy A54 is eligible for the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update, which brings a more modern interface, new AI features, and optimized performance compared to the current One UI 6.1. While Samsung has not announced an official release date, recent reports suggest that the update could arrive sooner than later.

In addition, Samsung is also preparing to launch the Galaxy A56, a successor to the A54 with many upgrades. If you are considering upgrading your device, this might be an option worth waiting for!
