Samsung has just announced the expansion of the One UI 7.0 Beta program and revealed the release date of the stable update for eligible Galaxy devices. This is good news for users who are looking forward to the new improvements on the Android 15 platform.
Stable One UI 7.0 to be released in early April 2025
According to the official announcement, Samsung plans to release the stable version of One UI 7.0 in early April 2025. The update is expected to be available first on the Galaxy S24 series, then gradually expand to older devices in the future.
Before the stable update is rolled out, the One UI 7.0 Beta program will continue to expand. The beta will officially come to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 on March 6, 2025. In the coming weeks, Samsung will expand the beta program to more devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy A55.
Samsung also confirmed that all eligible Galaxy devices will receive the stable One UI 7.0 update before the end of Q2 2025.
One UI 7.0 not only brings performance improvements but also a major design change. There’s a new quick panel interface, smoother transitions, a modern icon set, and a Now Bar that shows what’s going on.
Samsung has also revamped the camera app, giving users quick access to one-handed shooting modes. Other changes include a new battery icon, charging animations, and more.
