The Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G is coming to Pakistan with an impressive combination of a curved AMOLED display, 5G connectivity and a massive 8,000mAh battery. The Melting Silver 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is particularly interesting for users looking for a large-storage smartphone with a premium-looking design.

TECNO has equipped the POVA Curve 2 5G with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, 50MP main camera and 45W fast charging.

Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G Display

The phone features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 2364 × 1080 resolution.

One of its biggest attractions is the 144Hz refresh rate, which can provide smoother scrolling, animations and supported gaming. The display can also switch between 144Hz, 120Hz, 90Hz and 60Hz modes depending on usage.

TECNO lists peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, while the panel supports 1.07 billion colors and 2304Hz PWM dimming. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i provides additional protection for the screen.

MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G Processor

The POVA Curve 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset.

The 6nm processor features an octa-core CPU with speeds of up to 2.4GHz and an Arm Mali-G610 MC2 GPU. The phone supports 5G as well as 4G LTE, 3G and 2G networks.

For the Melting Silver model, the configuration being offered is 8GB physical RAM with 256GB internal storage. TECNO also supports extended RAM, allowing the phone to use additional storage as virtual memory.

50MP Main Camera

For photography, the Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G has a dual-camera setup on the rear.

The system consists of a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera is a 13MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

The camera setup is primarily designed for everyday photography, social media and casual video recording rather than competing directly with premium camera-focused smartphones.

Huge 8,000mAh Battery

Battery life is arguably the phone's biggest selling point.

The POVA Curve 2 5G packs an enormous 8,000mAh battery, giving it considerably more capacity than many conventional mid-range smartphones.

The battery supports 45W fast charging through USB Type-C. TECNO also lists support for reverse charging, allowing the phone to provide power to other compatible devices.

With such a large battery, the phone could be particularly appealing to users who spend long hours gaming, watching videos, browsing social media or using mobile data.

Android 16 and HiOS 16

The Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G runs Android 16 with HiOS 16.

The software brings TECNO's own interface and additional customization features on top of Android.

The phone also includes an under-display fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.

Slim Curved Design

Despite carrying an 8,000mAh battery, the phone has a relatively slim body measuring approximately 162.7 x 77.2 x 7.42mm.

The curved screen gives the phone a more premium appearance, while the Melting Silver color offers a distinctive finish.

The POVA Curve 2 5G also carries an IP64 rating, providing protection against dust and water splashes.

The phone supports a wide range of connectivity features, including:

• 5G
• 4G LTE
• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth 5.4

Is the Tecno POVA Curve 2 5G Worth Buying?
