Huawei is getting ready to bring its Nova 16 Pro to international markets with amazing specs. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will make its global debut at an upcoming launch event in Munich, Germany, on September 2.
Huawei originally introduced the Nova 16 series in China in June. The global launch will now give customers in other markets a chance to get the latest Nova series model.
Huawei Nova 16 Pro Set to Launch Globally Next Week With These Specs
Interestingly, the international version is expected to use a slightly different name. Huawei will reportedly call it the Nova 16s Pro in global markets. This follows a similar naming approach used for the Pura 90s Pro Max.
Same Design and Gradient Colors
Huawei has already started teasing the Nova 16s Pro ahead of its international launch. The promotional images show the phone in pink and blue gradient finishes. These colors are also available on the Chinese version.
It is not yet clear whether Huawei will make any hardware changes for the global model. The company has not revealed the complete specifications of the international version.
The Chinese Nova 16 Pro comes with a large 6.84-inch LTPO OLED display. The screen offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which should provide smooth scrolling and animations.
7,000mAh Battery and 200MP Camera
The Chinese model also packs a large 7,000mAh battery. This is one of the phone’s key features and could provide long battery life for users who spend a lot of time watching videos, playing games or using mobile apps.
For photography, the phone features a 200MP main camera. Huawei is also using its Kirin 9010S chipset to power the device.
Huawei has not yet confirmed whether these specifications will remain unchanged on the global Nova 16s Pro. More details are expected during the September 2 launch event.
Huawei Watch 6 Also Coming
The Nova 16s Pro will not be the only product at Huawei’s upcoming event. The company has also teased the Watch 6, which is expected to launch alongside the smartphone.
The new smartwatch appears to retain a familiar design similar to its predecessor. Huawei is expected to reveal more information about the watch and the Nova 16s Pro during the event in Munich.
With the global launch now confirmed, Huawei fans will not have to wait much longer to see what the company has planned for the Nova 16s Pro and whether the international model differs from its Chinese counterpart.
