The Vakeel Online mobile app has been launched to offer free legal assistance to citizens across Pakistan, marking a significant advancement in the country’s legal-tech landscape.

A Digital Platform for Legal Support

Vakeel Online serves as an online portal, connecting Pakistani citizens with lawyers and legal experts for help with a wide range of legal issues.

During the launch ceremony in Islamabad, Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar emphasized the app’s importance in providing legal aid to those who cannot afford traditional legal services.

German Ambassador Alfred Grannas also commended the initiative, noting its growing popularity.

Public Interest and Lawyer Participation

In development since 2020, the app has already gained 700,000 users across Pakistan, reflecting strong public interest. Additionally, 1,000 lawyers have registered on the platform, with more undergoing screening to join.

How to Use Vakeel Online?

Users can sign up as either clients or lawyers, making the platform accessible to both those seeking legal advice and legal professionals.

This initiative aims to bridge the gap between legal services and accessibility, offering valuable support to thousands across Pakistan.
