Vivo is set to launch the successor to the Vivo Y03, and Pakistan will be one of the first countries to receive the new device. The Vivo Y04 is expected to hit the local market in the coming days. Recently, the phone’s certifications were spotted at the FCC, NCC, TDRA, and CQC, but now we’ve also gotten our hands on a feature infographic revealing some intriguing details about the phone.
The Vivo Y04 is making its way to Pakistan soon, and it looks like the device has received a complete design overhaul. The vertical camera setup now houses two lenses, and the flat chassis gives the phone a modern, sleek aesthetic. When compared to its predecessor, the Vivo Y04’s new look is a noticeable improvement.
One key aspect that stands out is the phone’s durability. Vivo prominently highlights its certifications in the feature collage, including TUV SUD and SGS certifications, indicating the phone is designed with sturdiness in mind.
Vivo has also tested the Y04 for an IP64 rating, which provides entry-level water resistance and high-grade dust protection. The new device also features a Wet Touch function, meaning the screen will remain responsive even if it gets wet, distinguishing between accidental touches and deliberate actions.
Additionally, the Vivo Y04 has passed SGS’s tough drop resistance test, earning a 5-star rating. In this grueling test, the Y04 endured 32,000 drops from a small height without damage, earning it Military-grade certification. This rugged design will likely appeal to users looking for a durable device.
The phone is also equipped with a dual-speaker setup, with one speaker located in the top grille, as shown in the renders. A notable upgrade over the Y03, the Vivo Y04 also includes a side-mounted fingerprint reader, which serves both as a security feature and as the power button, making it more convenient for unlocking the phone and accessing the home screen.
Vivo has opted for a 5500mAh battery in the Y04, which is expected to provide up to 19 hours of video playback on YouTube. As we get closer to the phone’s release in Pakistan, we anticipate more details to be revealed. Stay tuned for further updates!
