vivo Y32 Quietly Launches With 8,000mAh Battery and 120Hz Display

vivo has quietly introduced a new vivo Y32 in Bangladesh, adding another affordable smartphone to its Y-series lineup. The biggest highlight of the new device is its enormous 8,000mAh battery, complemented by 44W fast charging.

The new Y32 should not be confused with the original vivo Y32 launched in 2021. Despite sharing the same name, the 2026 model features completely different hardware and specifications.

Large 6.87-Inch 120Hz Display

The vivo Y32 features a 6.87-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720 × 1592 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smoother scrolling and animations compared with conventional 60Hz screens.

The display can reach up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness, making it easier to view outdoors under bright sunlight. vivo also includes TÜV Rheinland low-blue-light certification for more comfortable viewing.

Unisoc T7300 Powers the Phone

Under the hood, the Y32 is powered by the Unisoc T7300 chipset. It is paired with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while both configurations come with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Users can expand the available storage through a microSD card, giving the phone additional flexibility for storing photos, videos and applications.

The smartphone runs Android 16 with vivo's OriginOS 6 interface. The 6GB RAM version also supports features such as AI Transcript Assist and AI Captions.

50MP Main Camera

For photography, the vivo Y32 comes with a dual-camera setup on the back.

The primary sensor is a 50MP camera, accompanied by a 2MP bokeh camera. The main camera supports features such as HDR and panorama and can record video at up to 1080p at 30fps.

On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera that also supports 1080p video recording.

Huge 8,000mAh Battery

Battery life is easily the biggest selling point of the new vivo Y32.

The phone packs an 8,000mAh BlueVolt battery and supports 44W FlashCharge. vivo claims the battery can deliver more than 36 hours of video playback and over 57 hours of Spotify playback under its laboratory testing conditions.

The device also supports reverse charging, allowing the Y32 to be used as a power source for compatible accessories and other devices.

vivo says its battery technology is designed to retain at least 80% health after 1,500 complete charging cycles, potentially giving the battery a lifespan of up to six years.

Durable Design With IP68 and IP69

vivo has also focused on durability. The Y32 carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing protection against dust and water.

The phone additionally features drop-resistance certification and military-grade shock resistance, making it a potentially attractive option for users who want a more rugged budget smartphone.

The device is available in Twilight Red and Sunset Orange, with vivo highlighting its metallic camera module and distinctive rear design.

Connectivity and Other Features

The vivo Y32 includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button. Other features include stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and a USB Type-C port.

The phone is a 4G LTE device, rather than a 5G model. It also supports dual SIM functionality and expandable storage.

vivo Y32 Price and Availability

vivo has listed the Y32 on its official Bangladesh website in 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB configurations. However, the company has not yet announced official pricing on the product page.

The phone is expected to become available in Bangladesh shortly, while vivo has not confirmed whether the new Y32 will launch in other markets.
