Apple Music Officially Launches in Pakistan After 11 Years
Apple has officially launched Apple Music in Pakistan, more than 11 years after the music streaming service first debuted globally. The long-awaited arrival gives Pakistani users direct access to Apple's music streaming platform with locally available subscription plans.
Apple quietly updated its Availability of Apple Media Services information to include Pakistan, confirming that Apple Music is now officially supported in the country.
Apple Music Finally Comes to Pakistan
Apple Music originally launched in June 2015 in more than 100 countries. Since then, Apple's streaming platform has expanded significantly, offering users access to a huge catalog of songs, albums and playlists across multiple devices.
Pakistan was not included in the service's original rollout, meaning local users had to rely on alternative music platforms or use workarounds to access Apple Music.
That has now changed, with Pakistan officially becoming one of the supported Apple Music markets.
Apple Music Price in Pakistan
Apple has introduced subscription pricing specifically for Pakistani customers.
The current plans reported for Pakistan are:
- Individual Plan: Rs. 379 per month
- Family Plan: Rs. 649 per month
- Free Trial: One month
The Individual plan is designed for a single user, while the Family plan allows the service to be shared among multiple family members. After the free trial, subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly basis unless canceled.
What Does Apple Music Offer?
Apple Music provides access to a large selection of music, albums and playlists. The service also offers personalized recommendations and curated playlists designed around users' listening habits.
Apple Music is available across a wide range of platforms, including Apple devices, Android phones, computers, smart TVs and other supported devices.
Depending on regional availability, Apple Music also supports features such as Lossless Audio, Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos, personalized recommendations and Apple Music Radio.
Apple Music vs Spotify in Pakistan
Apple Music's arrival is particularly significant because Spotify entered Pakistan in 2021, approximately 13 years after its original launch in 2008.
With both major streaming services now officially available, Pakistani users have more choice when selecting a music platform.
Apple Music could be especially attractive to iPhone users who already use other Apple services and want their music subscription integrated into the wider Apple ecosystem.
Apple Music Classical Still Unavailable
Although Apple Music is now officially available in Pakistan, not every Apple music-related service has launched in the country.
Apple Music Classical, Apple's dedicated classical-music service, is currently not listed as available in Pakistan.
This means Pakistani subscribers should not expect access to every Apple music service simply because Apple Music itself is now supported.

Apple Expands Its Services in Pakistan
The Apple Music launch appears to be part of a broader expansion of Apple's services in Pakistan.
The company has been increasing its presence in the country's growing digital market. Pakistan had around 117 million internet users by late 2025, according to figures cited by Business Recorder. Apple has also appointed its first head of government affairs for Pakistan and expanded the availability of services such as Apple TV and Apple Arcade for eligible iCloud+ customers.
The arrival of Apple Music therefore represents more than just another streaming service becoming available. It could signal Apple's growing interest in Pakistan as an important digital market.
Final Thoughts
After more than a decade of waiting, Apple Music is finally officially available in Pakistan. With an Individual subscription costing Rs. 379 per month and a Family plan priced at Rs. 649, Pakistani music fans now have direct access to Apple's streaming platform.
The launch also gives Apple users another reason to remain within the company's growing services ecosystem while increasing competition with platforms such as Spotify.
For Pakistani music lovers, the biggest news is simple: Apple Music is finally here.
