Why This Update Matters
MediaTek’s Dimensity 8000-series chips power a wide range of popular mid-range and upper-mid-range phones from OnePlus, OPPO, and realme. By adding MT6895 and MT6897, GMT now covers many current and recent devices that technicians see often. Combined with the one-click automation, that should mean faster turnaround for supported jobs.
Note: Servicing tools should only be used on devices you own or are authorized to repair, in line with local laws and the manufacturer’s terms.
