Oppo has confirmed the global launch of the upcoming Find X10 Pro Max. The flagship smartphone will also be among the first devices to feature MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset.
Oppo has not yet revealed the complete details of the Find X10 Pro Max. The Find X10 series is scheduled to launch in China on September 22, while the global launch is expected to take place next month.
Oppo has already listed the Find X10 Pro Max alongside the Find X10 and Find X10 E on its Chinese online store. However, it is still unclear whether all three models will be released internationally or whether their configurations will remain the same in different markets.
Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Confirmed for Global Launch With Dimensity 9600 Pro
The Dimensity 9600 Pro is one of the main highlights of the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max. MediaTek has built the new flagship processor using TSMC’s 2nm N2P manufacturing process.
According to the company, the new chipset can deliver up to 15% higher multi-core CPU performance compared with the previous generation. Its GPU performance can improve by up to 27%.
The chip also brings major improvements for AI workloads. Its new NPU offers twice the INT4 performance of the Dimensity 9500, which should help smartphones handle AI-related tasks more efficiently.
Power efficiency is another important upgrade. MediaTek claims that the CPU can be up to 61% more power efficient during multi-core workloads.
New Arm CPU Cores
The Dimensity 9600 Pro uses two Arm C2-Ultra cores that can reach speeds of up to 4.55GHz.
This is a change from the Dimensity 9500, which featured a single Ultra-class C1-Ultra core. The new configuration is designed to provide higher processing performance for demanding smartphone tasks.
Oppo and MediaTek Develop New Technology
Oppo has also worked with MediaTek on a new technology called the Laminar Flow Engine. The feature will make its debut with the Find X10 Pro Max.
The company says the technology is designed to improve system responsiveness while keeping power consumption under control. It achieves this by changing the underlying rendering architecture and coordinating it more closely with system scheduling.
This could help the phone maintain smoother performance during demanding tasks without placing unnecessary pressure on the battery.
Three 200MP Cameras
The Find X10 Pro Max is also expected to focus heavily on photography. The smartphone will reportedly feature a triple-camera setup with three 200MP sensors.
The main camera is expected to use an f/1.5 lens and offer up to 17 stops of dynamic range. The periscope telephoto camera will reportedly have an f/2.1 lens and CIPA 7.5 stabilization.
The third camera will be a 200MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a 124-degree field of view.

8,000mAh Battery and Slim Bezels
The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is expected to feature a large 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. This capacity could give the flagship strong endurance, particularly when combined with the improved efficiency of the Dimensity 9600 Pro.
The phone will also feature a large display with extremely thin 0.99mm bezels. This would make the bezels thinner than those found on the Find X9 series, which reportedly had 1.15mm bezels, and the Find X8 series, which had 1.45mm bezels.
Oppo is expected to reveal more information about the Find X10 Pro Max when the Find X10 series launches in China on September 22. The global launch is scheduled for October, giving international buyers their first official opportunity to get the new flagship.
