vivo S2 FE Launched With Huge 10,000mAh Battery and 120Hz AMOLED Display

vivo has officially expanded its S-series lineup in India with the launch of the vivo S2 FE, a new 5G smartphone that puts battery endurance at the center of its design. The biggest highlight is its massive 10,000mAh battery, the largest battery capacity offered by vivo in India.

Alongside the enormous battery, the vivo S2 FE features a 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor, 50MP Sony camera and Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

vivo S2 FE Specifications and Features

The vivo S2 FE comes with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display offering a 2800 × 1260 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach up to 2,000 nits of brightness, making it suitable for outdoor viewing and multimedia consumption.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset. It is offered with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device also supports RAM expansion through software optimization.

For biometric security, the smartphone features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

Massive 10,000mAh Battery

The biggest selling point of the vivo S2 FE is undoubtedly its 10,000mAh battery.

vivo pairs the battery with 44W fast wired charging, allowing users to recharge the large battery without excessively long charging times. The phone also supports reverse charging, allowing it to function as a power source for other compatible devices.

According to vivo, the battery uses its BlueVolt technology with fourth-generation silicon-anode technology. The company says the battery is designed to retain at least 80% of its capacity after 1,400 full charging cycles under its laboratory testing conditions.

50MP Sony Main Camera

Photography is handled by a dual-camera setup on the rear.

The primary camera uses a 50MP Sony IMX852 sensor, accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, the smartphone features a 32MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls.

The combination should make the S2 FE a capable option for everyday photography, social media content and video calls.

Android 16 and OriginOS 6

On the software side, the vivo S2 FE ships with Android 16 and vivo's OriginOS 6 interface.

The phone also supports modern connectivity features including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and GPS.

Durable Design With IP Ratings

Despite its large battery, vivo has kept the phone relatively slim at around 8.6–8.7mm, while its weight is approximately 224–225 grams depending on the color variant.

The vivo S2 FE also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against dust and water. It additionally has MIL-STD-810H certification, adding another layer of durability.

vivo S2 FE Price and Availability

The vivo S2 FE is available in Stellar Green, Zen White and Titan Black color options.

In India, pricing starts at INR 38,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 128GB version costs INR 42,999. The smartphone is scheduled to go on sale from October 20, 2026.
